Join Bill Gibson, Southern California’s beekeeper for an unforgettable training course designed to equip you with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to manage your bees successfully. What makes this class extraordinary? A unique, hands-on excursion into Bill’s personal bee yards. Learn by doing: inspect hives, identify queen signs, spot eggs and larvae, and understand the life cycle of bees. Gain real-world experience in hive management, preparing you not just for your first year, but for beekeeping success. Ask the questions as you learn to manage the hives.
Custom Beekeeping Experience:
Just Jump In! If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind adventure, our Custom Beekeeping Experience is perfect for you. Suit up, dive into the hives, learn fascinating bee facts, and capture the moment with a photo of yourself holding bees! This is your chance to create memories and experience the magic of bees firsthand.
Cost:
Classes $300 per person—an investment in knowledge that will save you time, money, and effort in the long run. (Replacing bees and queens costs far more than getting it right from the start!) Bee Experiences are custom priced to accommodate your needs.
What to Bring for Classes:
Bee suit or jacket with veil, Sting proof long pants, and gloves (your beekeeping protective gear) Also bring water and a snack. Class time 3 hours. We will provide a suit if you do not have one. Times are customized for your experience.
